OK. It’s official. Low Notes For Nashville is a success!
Alana Rocklin is our first success story – the first of many, actually. I finally got to meet Alana in person at the concert and I’m so glad that we were able to help her out. She’s a great player (obviously) and a wonderful person. I can’t express her gratitude as she expressed it to me… but I can tell you she really, Really, REALLY appreciates the help she has received.
Alana took a few minutes to tape a PSA for us, and in it you can see the damage she and her husband are still dealing with. But while the house may still need some work, the fact that Alana is back on stage and back at work sure makes things easier.
So… many thanks to all who have supported our cause… and supported bassists like Alana. Working bassists who don’t want a hand out… just a hand up.
If you haven’t contributed yet, or maybe can give a little more, please do. We still have a LOT of work to do, and the only way to get it done is together!
In service of the groove,
Lane on Bass
